WinnieSMP Rules

WinnieSMP is a semi‑chaotic survival server with freedom to raid, steal, PvP, and cause trouble — but with a few boundaries to keep the server fun and fair for everyone.

1. Be Respectful

  • No harassment or bullying
  • No hate speech or slurs
  • No personal attacks or targeted harassment

Trash talk is fine. Toxicity isn’t.

2. Stealing & Raiding

These ARE allowed on WinnieSMP.

  • You can steal items
  • You can raid bases
  • You can kill pets or animals
  • You can break into builds

Just don’t turn it into personal harassment.

3. PvP

PvP is fully allowed.

  • No consent required
  • Ambushing, trapping, and hunting players is allowed
  • Killing for loot is allowed

Spawn‑killing someone repeatedly is not.

4. Griefing

Griefing is allowed except in admin areas.

Allowed:

  • Destroying player bases
  • Blowing up builds
  • Sabotaging farms
  • TNT traps, lava traps, etc.

Not allowed:

  • Griefing admin‑protected areas, such as:
  • Spawn
  • Server‑built structures
  • Event areas
  • Admin towns or official builds

These areas are protected to keep the server playable.

5. Exploits & Mods

Most things are allowed.

Allowed:

  • X‑ray
  • TNT duping
  • Redstone exploits
  • Most client mods

Not allowed:

  • Anything that crashes the server
  • Anything that intentionally lags the server
  • Anything that gives OP/admin‑level abilities

If it breaks the server, don’t use it.

6. Advertising

Some advertising is allowed — but not all.

Allowed:

  • Sharing your YouTube/Twitch if it includes WinnieSMP content
  • Sharing social media in context
  • Posting content in the correct channels

Not allowed:

  • Advertising other Minecraft servers
  • Posting unrelated Discord invites
  • Spamming your content repeatedly

Keep it relevant and non‑spammy.

7. Follow Staff Instructions

  • Staff decisions are final
  • If you disagree, talk to staff respectfully
  • Don’t argue in chat

We’re here to keep the server running smoothly.

8. Use Common Sense

If you think something might cross the line, it probably does.

Punishments

Depending on the situation, staff may issue:

  • A warning
  • A temporary ban
  • A permanent ban

We only punish when someone is ruining the fun for others.

Have Fun

WinnieSMP is meant to be chaotic, funny, unpredictable, and community‑driven.
Play how you want — just don’t ruin the experience for everyone else.
